  18. imaginations--and development budgets--run wild. A few of
  19. the stranger projects that are kicking around Hollywood:

  21. <p>     THE HEAD (20th Century Fox) A bizarre comedy about a
  22. wisecracking, bodyless scientist and his eccentric brother and
  23. how they foil a plot to steal their secret hair-growth formula.
  24. </p>
  25. <p>     LITTLE ODESSA (Hollywood Pictures) A thriller where
  26. Madonna winds up in the Soviet Union and gets into trouble with
  27. the KGB. Calling Dick Tracy...
  28. </p>
  29. <p>     CHARLIE FINLEY--M.C. HAMMER PROJECT (Imagine) The
  30. true-life story of the colorful owner of the Oakland A's, who
  31. hired the future rapmaster as the team's "executive assistant"
  32. at the age of 11.

  34. <p>     MY LIFE AS A WHALE (Interscope) A New York City literary
  35. agent who's been dumped by his girlfriend finds himself chased
  36. by marriage-hungry women.

  38. <p>     VOODOO (Disney) An innocent middle-class family returns
  39. from vacation in Jamaica with a voodoo witch doctor who turns
  40. New York upside down with his bag of tricks.
  41. </p>
  42. <p>     OCEAN (Columbia) A somewhat autobiographical look at Jack
  43. Nicholson's days as a lifeguard in the late 1950s, to be
  44. produced by Penny Marshall. But how will Jack fit into those
  45. swim trunks?
